CIT launches first online training webinar for members in 2026
On 29 January 2026, the CIT General Secretariat organised the first of a series of online training webinars for members. The webinar, which was attended by 40 participants, was based on the CIT modular training programme with main highlights in passenger, freight, wagon law and infrastructure use.
This was an excellent opportunity for the CIT General Secretariat to present the main elements of the new and reworked CIT Strategy 2026-2030 as announced during the last CIT General Assembly in November 2025. The CIT strategy is future-oriented, member-centred and action-oriented to ensure that CIT not only responds to the changing needs of the railway sector, but also proactively shapes its future (see the dedicated article in this CIT NEWS).
Based on the positive and supportive experience, the next CIT webinar will be held online on Thursday 9 September 2026. Further detailed information and the dedicated programme will be provided by the CIT General Secretariat in due course before the summer break.
