The International Rail Transport Committee (CIT) is an association of over 130 railway undertakings and shipping companies that operate international passenger and/or freight transport services.

March 31, 2025 AJC : A NEW MEMBERSHIP GUIDE

The AJC (CIT Agreement on Journey Continuation in respect of International Passenger Traffic by Rail) unifies today 22 members. An agreement created by the CIT and the CER to ease the passenger traffic in case of disruption. A membership guide is now available for CIT members.

Jan. 17, 2025 Consultation on potential COTIF revision

The OTIF recently launched a public consultation to identify any potential revision to the Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF). The CIT is taking part in this consultation process and is expressing the views and proposals of rail transport carriers for adapting and improving COTIF.

Jan. 8, 2025 Supplements to the GTM-CIT and GTW-CIT

With CIT Circular letter 22/2024 the supplements to GTM-CIT Annexes 14 and 16 and GTW-CIT Annex 14 come into force on 1 January 2025.

Sept. 2, 2024 Eurostar joins the AJC

On 1 September 2024, Eurostar joined the CIT Agreement on Journey Continuation (AJC) as a new party, alongside the other 19 railway companies.
