Editorial
Dear CIT Members:
I am delighted to address you today with this third edition of CIT NEWS. It reports on the hard work carried out by the CIT General Secretariat between July and October 2025.
In this short period of time, we made substantial progress in the respective areas of international and supranational passenger and freight rail transport. We organised two highly successful Events: Passenger Claims Conference in Copenhagen in September and Freight Claims Conference in Berne in October with enthusiasm and dedication. Prior to these events on 11 September 2025, we also organised very successful Webinar on the CIT products and activities which attracted over 80 participants from the CIT Members.
Now the Team is turning its attention to the upcoming CIT General Assembly on 20 November 2025 in Berne at the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
Come to Bern and support the vital work of the CIT General Secretariat. Many thanks!
Yours sincerely,
Erik Evtimov
Deputy Secretary General/Interim Manager
