CIT as a central training platform for the members in 2025
Establishing of a relevant training program based on tailor made modules that directly addresses the changing needs of the CIT members is a central for the CIT work with its members. To this end the CIT General Secretariat organised two dedicated Webinars in 2025, one in January and one in September with approximately 80 participants from the CIT members.
Further experience in this context has been gained with dedicated year-round training courses for Trenitalia, PKP, SBB Cargo Int., RDG and BDZ. The appropriate mix of face-to-face and online events are designed to accommodate the time and financial constraints of the CIT members. Every participant will receive an appropriate CIT Certificate proving the level of knowledge and duration of the course.
This dedicated CIT Webinars align perfectly with the new CIT Strategy 2026-2030 with features ten core strategic objectives based on CIT historical mission to support the railways over the past 125 years. The new CIT Strategy is future-oriented, member-centred and action-oriented, ensuring that CIT comprehensively addresses the changing needs of the railway sector and proactively shapes its future.
