The mobility package contains also the review of passenger rights and that is why the European Commission published a proposal for a Regulation on passenger rights in the context of multimodal journeyswhich contains different measures for a single multimodal contract, a combined multimodal ticket offered by carriers and separate multimodal tickets. The CIT will review the proposal within the Working Group CIV.

Nov. 1, 2023 Agreement on Journey Continuation : 17 members, after the joining of HZPP

As of 1 November, the Agreement on Journey Continuation (AJC) will be joined by a new member. HŽ PUTNIČKI PRIJEVOZ (HZPP - Croatia) has been making efforts in recent weeks to achieve its accession. 17 railway undertakings are now part of the AJC, for the continuing benefit of the railway transport of passengers

The CIT Agreement on Journey Continuation (AJC) has been concluded to enable passengers to continue their journey. This multilateral agreement involves several European railway undertakings on a good-will basis. A project that was jointly initiated by the CER and CIT to improve the travel experience of rail passengers by complementing existing laws.
