Special edition : BERNER TAGE 2024

The 11th edition of the Berner Tage 2024 is now over.

We hope that all attendees had an interesting time with fruitful exchanges.
This special issue of CIT News summarizes the important moments and sessions of this 2024 edition. The next classic CIT News will be released end of July 2024.

29 speakers were present at this edition of the Berner Tage, covering most of the aspects of international railway law.

The session was chaired by CIT Chair Maria Sack and CIT Vice-Chair Maria Urbanska. Throughout the event, Majorie van Leijen, a Dutch journalist specialising in rail transport, moderated most of the sessions, underlining the key moments.

The innovations in 2024 included an interactive survey whereby participants were asked to answer selected questions on the current context of railway law. See below for the results of this survey, which was conducted using the Mentimeter application.

Last but not least, the official dinner at the Äusserer Stand restaurant on 6 June was once more a quality moment to meet other rail professionals.

Do not hesitate to save the date in your 2026 diary for the next edition as soon as the official date is released.
